The siblings Wacław Drab (father of Helena and Bronisław, died 1976), Bronisław Drab, Janina Drab and Helena Bochat (née Drab) lived during the Second World War in the village of Strzemkowo (Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodeship). All the siblings were involved in hiding fugitives from the labour camp in Jaksice of Jewish origin, Dawid and Jehuda Weissman and Jakub Żółty.

Wacław Drab, Bronisław Drab, Janina Drab and Helena Bochat were awarded the title of Righteous Among the Nations in 1988.
