Feliks Bobys lived in the village of Majdan Nepryski (Lubelskie voivodeship) during World War II. Home Army soldier. In July 1943, together with his squad mates, they helped an escapee from a transport. They rescued a Jewish woman, Dania Goldwuim, who was lying seriously injured on the rail tracks. Dania originated from the village of Biała (now Ukraine). Thanks to their help, the woman survived the war.
