Józef Zając tells the story of his family. The Zając family had a farm in the village of Nawóz. When the war broke out, the peaceful village life was disrupted. On a mild night in 1942, Józef’s uncle brought the four-member Jewish Pelc family to the Zając family. The family wanted to help, yet feared for their lives.
