Józef Zając tells the story of his family. The Zając family had a farm in the village of Nawóz. When the war broke out, the peaceful village life was disrupted. On a mild night in 1942, Józef’s uncle brought the four-member Jewish Pelc family to the Zając family. The family wanted to help, yet feared for their lives. Here we learn about difficult decisions, strenuous requests for help and the hopeful anticipation of the end of the war…
