Stanisław Komisarczyk recounts that during World War II his father and grandparents helped Jews in the village of Zabrody. He also mentions the Mikołajczyk family, who sheltered two Jewish men. Maria Mikołajczyk nee Lis explains that as a result of a misunderstanding, the men in hiding left their hiding place and were murdered by the Germans.
