Jadwiga Boczar was born in 1916. During the Second World War, she lived in Rzeszów and Warsaw. She sheltered people of Jewish origin from the Rozenholc and Bergman families. Initially she gave shelter in Warsaw and later in Piastów (Mazowieckie voivodeship). Jadwiga passed away on 1 January 2017.

Jadwiga Boczar was awarded the title of Righteous Among the Nations in 1983.
