During World War II, Erazm and Kazimiera Augustyniak lived in the village of Nowe Mursy (Mazowieckie Province). The parents of Janina, Helena and Stanisława. Together with their family, they hid Natan and Rivka Rozenbaum and their three children in the barn.

Erazm and Kazimiera Augustyniak were awarded the title Righteous Among the Nations in 1974.
