A CARD FROM THE CALENDAR - OLGA JAGIEŁŁOWICZ WITH DAUGHTER DANUTA SZKLAREK
Infuriated by the futile raid, the Gestapo men were leaving the home of Olga Jagiełłowicz, who lived with her daughter and three-year-old grandson in Legionowo. They searched – as it seemed to them – every corner they poked every wall, floor, but they did not come across anything suspicious. Meanwhile, under the kitchen in an underground shelter crowded the Zawiesinski family of five, who had escaped during the liquidation of the ghetto in Ludwisin in October 1942. They all managed to survive.
