Janina Babiańska (née Daniłowicz) was born on 24 June 1925. During World War II, she lived in the village of Lelerviskiai (Lithuania). Together with her family, she helped Silom Goldstein and his wife Tamara. The Jews escaped from the Kovno ghetto and were hidden in the barn for 7 months.

Janina Babiańska was awarded the title Righteous Among the Nations in 1992.
