Wojciech (born 23 April 1919 in Korbielów, died 15 March 2008) and Rudolf Basik, sons of Stefan and Katarzyna. During World War II they lived in the village of Korbielów Górny (Śląskie voivodship). They were hiding a Czech Jew from Olomouc, Robert Wolf, who had escaped from the Auschwitz-Monowitz camp.

Wojciech Basik was awarded the title Righteous Among the Nations in 1993.
