Stanisław Betiuk was born on 8 May 1917. During World War II, he lived in the village of Strupin (Lubelskie Voivodeship). For 18 months on his farm he hid two teenage sisters of Jewish origin, Fajga and Brucha Handelsman.

Stanisław Betiuk was awarded the title of Righteous Among the Nations in 1984.
