Memory And Identity

Kazimierz Serwin was born in 1927 in Kraków. He describes the beginning of the war, when the Germans entered the city. He also recalls the story of the Stopa family from Kraków. They were hiding two Jewish women who, despite the danger, were walking around the garden. Someone noticed them, the Germans arrived and took the Stopa couple away. The couple were murdered, but their three children managed to escape and survived.
