Franciszek Barczak (born 5 April 1907, died 6 August 1963) lived in Mąkolice (Łódzkie Province) during World War II. Brother of Józef, Władysław, Antoni, Bronisława (married name Lasota, b. March 29, 1913), uncle of Anna Teresa Grabowska (b. May 25, 1927). The whole family was involved in helping Jewish refugees from the labour camp in Piotrków Trybunalski – Sam Faivish, Chaskiel Braitberg and Maier Braitberg.

Franciszek, Józef, Władysław, Bronisława and Anna Teresa Grabowska were awarded the title Righteous Among the Nations in 1993.
