Aniela Barylak
Aniela Barylak was born on 8 July 1917. During World War II she lived in Nadwórna (now Ukraine). Jan’s wife, mother of Bolesław Andrzej and Teresa. She hid a Jewish girl Jafa Einhorn (Stefania Kurz) until liberation. She passed away on 28 April 1974. Aniela Barylak was awarded the title Righteous Among the Nations in 2007.

Emilia Bachtig with her son Władysław
Emilia Bachtig lived in Nadwórna (Ukraine) during the Second World War. Władysław’s mother. Together with her son she helped Jews, providing them with potatoes among other things. In their house they hid Cylia Hartz and her family.
