Ludmiła Bagińska was born on 26 February 1869. During World War II she lived in Białystok. Together with her son Tadeusz, she saved a Jewish couple – Anatol and Zofia Rabinowicz – by hiding them in the attic. Thanks to the Bagiński family, the Jews managed to survive the ghetto liquidation action.

Ludmiła and Tadeusz Bagiński were awarded the title Righteous Among the Nations in 1992.
