Józef (born on 9 March 1931 in Smardzowice) and Stefania Biesaga. During the Second World War they lived in the village of Smardzowice (Małopolskie voivodeship). Józef’s parents. They were sheltering three people of Jewish origin. Józef passed away on 1 January 1972.

Józef Biesaga was awarded the Righteous Among the Nations title in 2000.
