Janina (née Godlewska) and Kazimierz Biały lived in the village of Boguty-Milczki (Mazowieckie voivodeship) during World War II. Jadwiga’s parents. On their property, in a barn, they sheltered people of Jewish origin, such as the Chazan family and Estera Klejnot.

Janina and Kazimierz were awarded the title of Righteous Among the Nations in 1991.
