Helena and Józef Biczyk lived in Warsaw during the Second World War. In their flat they sheltered people of Jewish origin, including Zofia, Alicja and Ignacy Fajnsztajn and a married couple named Kolski.

Helena and Józef were awarded the title of Righteous Among the Nations in 1982.
