Antonina Bednarska together with her daughter Stanisława (born 1925, died 2011) lived in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski during World War II. For a few months they sheltered at their house on Stodolna Street a teenage girl of Jewish origin, Stanisława Fajgałak (married name Urbaniak). In addition, Stanisława helped to organise documents for the girl and, together with the Jewish girl, left for work in Germany.
