Albert Abrahamczyk lived with his wife Elżbieta and their two daughters in Krzyżkowice (Silesia Province). During the German occupation, the couple became involved in helping Jews, whom they hid for some time in their barn. Elżbieta also helped by donating food. Elżbieta’s parents, Franciszka and Alojzy Mokry, who lived in the same village, were also involved in rescuing the Jews.
