A CARD FROM THE CALENDAR - FILOMENA I JAKUB ŚWIĘTOŃ
Abraham Pariser had been hiding in the forest for a long time, and after dark he would turn up at the Świętoń’s house. There he received warm food, a roof over his head, conversation and safe accommodation. It was at the Świętoń’s house that Abraham met another Jewish family, hidden by Poles in their house. Almost every day Abraham was spending his days in the forest, while evenings and nights in the warm atmosphere of the Świętoń’s house. Seasons changed, but cyclical nature of their activities remained constant. And so they endured until the end of the war. Abraham Pariser, after years of conflagration and fear, moved to New Jersey.
