This week in Marki we met with Zygmunt Chłopek, who is the last living prisoner of the German labor camp in Treblinka.

Mr. Zygmunt was born on May 5, 1925 in Siedlce. He told us stories about his wartime fate, about his murderous work in the gravel pit in the Treblinka labor camp and about his siblings. The parents of Mr. Zygmunt died before World War II and the youngest sister Wanda died during the Warsaw Uprising.
