Stanisław Bachul was born in 1883. During World War II he lived in the village of Osielec (Małopolskie voivodship). Husband of Ludwika, father of Władysław, Roman, Janina, Anna and Maria. The Bachul family helped Miriam Stern, a pregnant Jewish woman. They helped Miriam deliver a baby outside the ghetto and took care of her child. After the war they gave the girl to her mother. The Jewish women emigrated to Israel. Stanisław passed away in 1958, Ludwika and Władysław died in 1971, Roman died in 2005.

Stanisław, Ludwika, Roman and Włądysław Bachul were awarded the title Righteous Among the Nations in 1990.
