Józef and Rozalia (née Martyniuk) Beck lived in the village of Turka (Ukraine) during World War II. Parents of seven children. For a period of two weeks, they sheltered on their farm the Jewish couple, Julian and Salcia Milbauer with their daughter Rózia, and Mina Bloufeld with her daughter Lusia. They also provided food for the doctors Nider and Milbaor.
