For helping Jews during the war by sheltering them in a house in the village of Grabanów and providing them with what they needed to survive, on July 20, 1943, their lives were taken away. They were shot. Józef Kuszneruk was actually at the start of his life at the time of death: he was 21 years old. His father was 52. Only a short note was left of them. Nothing more is known about those men.
