Antonina Bak was born on 31 March 1909. During World War II, she worked on a farm in the village of Jurowce (Podkarpackie Voivodeship). At the request of her employer, she delivered bread to Jehuda Iwler – a Jew who did not register for transport and was hiding in the barn. After some time, Jehuda was joined by his brothers, Herman and Izrael. They then moved to the forest, where they hid in a cave. For a year, once a week Antonina brought them bread. Thanks to this help, the Iwler family survived the War and left Poland.

Antonia Bak was awarded the title of Righteous Among the Nations in 1990.
